Cattleman:
As of October 1st, 2008 it is required by
Federal law, that
when you sell cattle you must
have a Country Of Origin Labeling (COOL) document
signed before the cattle can be sold
that day. This document will take the place
of the EID tags that were first talked about being
used as a way to identify cattle from the USA.
So please stop by the office to sign your document
to prove your cattle are of USA origin.
This is a only one time signature on cattle of USA origin.
